Financial Controller - £50k - £55k Solihull

Sheridan Maine is delighted to have a brand new manadate to recruit a Financial Controller for a growing SME based near Solihull. The role will have the Senior Management Team as key stakeholders.

The role

Reporting to the FD, the Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing achievement of the financial processes. In addition providing accurate and timely information to assist in the decision making process. You will also be expected to get involved in the granular detaill of day to day Financial Controller duties and provide leadership to HR, Property and IT.

Other Duties

- Preparation of monthly management accounts and management information for Senior Management
- Preparation of short and long-term budgets and cashflow forecasts
- Ensure accounting systems and processes are followed by the team in line with policies. Develop areas for improvement
- Oversee year end statutory accounts preparation and audit process
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be

Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Be able to show proof of a perusasive management style
Have excellent communication skills
Have Excel skills to Piviot Table and Look-up level
Ability to implement systems
