An exciting new operations manager position has become available at a new wedding venue.

• Setting up Housekeeping team for the venue and accommodation.
• Liaising with Housekeeper to ensure high standards are maintained of the venue
• Overseeing of bookings made for accommodation and wedding days
• To manage a team of event managers to ensure they deliver excellent customer service.
• Being on call for event managers when weddings are taking place, for support and guidance if needed during the day/night.
• HR responsibilities, recruiting, performance management experience, payroll, admin, training.
• H&S responsibilities, ensuring that staff are trained and are abiding H&S rules and regulations for their staff, guests, couples.
• To ensure that the venue to kept to a high standard, arranging contractors for maintenance work or delegating work to the housekeeping team.
• To ensure that licenses and regulations are always kept up to date, such as civil ceremony licence, liquor licence, etc

The position is full-time and you would be required to work alternate weekends, as you would be working with the operations manager at a sister venue and therefore would be required to have regular meetings with this person.
