An exciting opportunity has arisen for Design Engineers to join a motivated and focused team working on the exciting new range of our products. You will be key members of the team, working on a unique machine with new programmes planned, to develop the product further within the Industrial Materials handling market.Design Engineer Role:·Preparation of design concepts, and technical design solutions to new and existing products.·Prepare, update, issue and checking design control documents such as Engineering change notes timing plan, cost estimation, DFMEA etc.·Preparation of technical specifications and bills of material.·'Hands-on' prototypes build support and testing.·Engaging with suppliers to deliver class leading product solutions.Design Engineer Requirements:·You will be a competent and creative design engineer with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a track record of delivery. ·You will have a strong understanding of CAD, PLM and engineering processes. You will operate within a team and under your own initiative, interpreting specifications and contributing to technical discussions. ·Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.·Enthusiastic attitude, coupled with a sense of urgency and desire to succeed.·Excellent teamwork & communication skills.Design Engineer Benefits:Our client will work with you to support your career progression and development.
