Athona are recruiting for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to work for the Endoscopy unit of the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS. This role will based in a busy and dynamic environment within a fast paced hospital.

The is a full-time position offering a salary up to GBP31,000 per year

Typical Responsibilities will include:

* Observing patient vital signs.

* Sedating patients before procedures.

* Recovering patients after procedures.

* Administering the necessary medication to patients.

* Keeping the patient informed throughout the duration of the procedure.

* Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents.

* Preparing the instruments, equipment and supplies for the procedure.

* Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use.

* Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure.

* Administering IV drips.

To be considered for this role, you must:

* Be a Registered Nurse

* Demonstrate experience in patient care.

* Provide a clear, in-date DBS.

* Be proficient using endoscopic equipment.

* have attention to detail.

* Exceptional interpersonal skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication.

* Good organizational skills.
