Our client is a manufacturer and global distribution firm. Offering a substantial benefits package, in-house and industry recognised training and internal development. The role is based in the Heart of Stoke on Trent and is commutable from, Hanley and surrounding areas, Cheshire, Stafford, Biddulph and Congleton.

Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a number of Engineers with different skills and proficiencies.

Our client is open to Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Multi-skilled Engineers due to an increased work load - all roles on a permanent basis.

Essentially the roles will be to assist in the day to day maintenance of production machinery, attend breakdowns, log all work completed on the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System), and carry out planned and preventative maintenance tasks either alone or as part of a team. In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a skill set consisting of commitment, drive and enthusiasm as well as being extremely business focused. We are also looking for an individual with:

Mechanical

Qualifications/Education:

  • City and Guilds or equivalent minimum NVQ level 3 Mechanical qualifications

Experience:

  • Previous experience of mechanical factory maintenance, including fault finding and repair, installations and planned maintenance on a range of machinery including kilns, cup and flat making machines, filter presses, pumps, extruders, automated plant, dryers, de-humidifiers, air handling units

Additional experience:

  • Hydraulics and pneumatics

Preferred other:

  • MEWP, Counterbalance FLT, Robotics

Electrical

Qualifications/Education:

  • City and Guilds or equivalent Electrical qualifications up to 17th edition

Experience:

  • Previous experience of electrical factory maintenance, including fault finding and repair, installations and planned maintenance on a range of machinery including kilns, cup and flat making machines, filter presses, pumps, extruders, automated plant, dryers, de-humidifiers, air handling units

Additional experience:

  • PLC diagnostics and Inverter drives

Preferred other:

  • MEWP, Counterbalance FLT, Robotics, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday 6:00am - 1:00pm and 1:00pm - 8:00pm

Salary: £14.83ph + shift allowance + overtime + call out
