TM Resourcing are delighted to be working in partnership with our client based in Leamington Spa to recruit an Operational Risk Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

Working in the debt recovery team the Operational Risk Manager will be responsible for delivering operational compliance with regulatory, legislative and client requirements which include SRA, FCA, Ofcom, CSA and GDPR requirements as well as anti-money laundering regulations.

Job Responsibilities include but are not restricted to:-

Ensuring all information required by the Financial Conduct Authority is supplied within the set timescales and that Approved Persons are compliant with obligations set the by FCA

*

Ensuring incidents are properly investigated and that proper records are maintained to be reported on to the Compliance, Operational and IT meeting

*

Analysing Root Cause, various impacts and making recommendations on future migration

*

Managing complaints that are received and delivering appropriate responses within set timescales and implementing remedies to avoid a repetition of complaint cause

*

Responding to requests for information under the Data Protection Act and requests to delete information

*

Carrying out checks on new business loads including conflict checks on new matters against the firm's database

*

Managing the Quality Assurance process including line management of the Quality & Compliance Assistant

*

Calibrating calls for agents eligible for a bonus and reviewing all account challenges

*

Delivering effective remedies in areas of non-compliance

*

Reviewing workflows within the debt recovery team ensuring compliance at all times

*

Preparing for clients audit and due diligence requests

*

Performing due diligence on new and existing suppliers, undertaking onsite and remote audits

*

Driving, challenging and delivering effective operational controls that achieve compliant operations

*

Periodic reviews of all standard processes including customer communications ensuring compliance and effective working

What you'll need:-

Proven background in risk, compliance and quality experience within a regulated environment

*

The ability to communicate in a timely and effective manner, keeping stakeholders fully informed

*

The ability to take decisive action to maximise results

*

Effective organisation skills coupled with ability to ensure that the client is at the heart of all activities
