The Company and Culture

Our client company is a leading Independent Financial Advisory firm, established in 1990 and through excellent development has become a public quoted company. Due to continued growth, they are looking to continue recruiting more IFA Administrators to build their Birmingham based Office team. They pride themselves on being a people based business and promote opportunities for career development within the company wherever possible; this has been proven by a large number of their Senior staff started as Administrators within the company.

Roles and responsibilities for an IFA Administrator

With over 170 IFA's based across the UK providing financial planning and wealth management advice to clients, they have become a recognisable name in the industry. As such, they are looking to grow their back office team by recruiting IFA Administrators.

Senior IFA Administrator - You will be responsible for providing efficient administrative support; preparation of client correspondence; assist with the management of the portfolio of existing business and ensuring their IFA's are always fully prepared.

IFA Administrator - You will be supporting their Financial Advisers with administration, diary management, client queries and reporting. You will need to liaise with the clients directly both via telephone and email to collate information. In addition, you will undertake new business submission, non-complex case reports and some product research.

Training and Development offered to an IFA Administrator

Full initial and ongoing training will be provided by your line manager and team so that you can quickly get up to speed and continue developing. As a people based business, they look to promote and reward their staff where possible.

Requirements to be considered - IFA Administrator

IFA Administrator - You should ideally have experience as an IFA Administrator or worked closely with Financial Advisers. In addition, you should be interested in long term progression through undertaking industry exams.

Senior IFA Administrator - Should ideally have 3 years experience within a similar role (e.g. IFA Administration / Financial Services Administration) and good knowledge of financial planning sector. You should have good organisational and communication skills.
