Would you like to take the Commercial Lead on a number of high value and international projects where the end users are some of the largest manufacturing giants and government bodies across the globe. This is a truly international role with exposure at all levels and with genuine career progression.
Due to promotions within this high performing and successful team, they now require the appointment of two experienced Commercial Managers to support the growing workload within the Commercial team as they have some long-term contracts to service and key clients to manage.
The role will deliver across the full product life cycle including; agreements, bid support, product development, manufacture and aftermarket support and as Commercial Manager for your value stream you will take a lead role in the ownership of the project from a commercial perspective including all internal and customer relationships. You will work closely with the internal Customer Service and Project management teams and lead complex negotiations in terms of pricing, commercial strategy for bids and live contracts.
You will have a strong commercial understanding me tenacious in negotiation and have an eye on the detail but will be very customer focused and always have one eye on the bigger contractual and relationship picture in order to grow and develop it for the future business gain.
Ideally, you will have a proven Commercial Aerospace and Defence background and will have a solid understanding of ITAR, DFAR / FAR regulations and strong legal and contractual understanding when it comes to high value contracts with Blue Chip customers on an international basis. Flexibility and the ability to travel on occasion is also a distinct advantage for this role as an when required.
