We are looking for a strong communicator with commercial business acumen to join an international membership organisation as a Regional Support Executive: building relationships, supporting member activities and generating revenue with industry employers as part of a key account management strategy.

Acting as an integral part of the global team, this talented individual will engage with the membership in the region and help these members to develop. Through building relationships with local industry employers and universities, this role will help to build links between local members and these parties.

Key responsibilities:

* Corporate engagement

* Regional membership development and member group support

* University and 'on campus' presentations

* Fostering and developing links with employers

* Identifying and developing member/business development opportunities

* Visiting and interacting with multiple customer types

* Membership engagement and recruitment

* Leading presentations and workshops

* Assisting with events, marketing and engagement with corporate contacts


* Degree in a relevant business, sales or marketing discipline

* Professional qualification in a relevant business, sales or marketing discipline

* At least 2 years' experience working in business development, preferably in a membership environment

* Experience of delivering against targets, KPIs and deadlines

* Confident communicator and presenter

* Experience of working with members, students, volunteers and industry contacts

This opportunity involves extensive, regular travel to Scotland and Ireland with some infrequent travel to other parts of the UK; as such, a full, clean UK driving licence is required. The job holder will also be required to attend events/activities outside of normal office working hours.

(Normal office working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
