Business Development Researcher / Support Administrator

Location: Can be based in Reading, Dudley and Brighton locations due to the type of role

Job Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £10.00 paye per hour or £11.50 umbrella per hour

Duration of the role: This is expected to be for 3 months and maybe longer

Hours per week: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm

Job Summary

Our client a private healthcare organisation is building on its extensive experience in Primary Care and are currently developing a strategic project to revolutionise NHS primary care.

The model aims to provide an enhanced general practice service to NHS patients through the use of technology, remote care and locally delivered clinical services close to people’s homes.

This new model has been developed to help address the many challenges faced by general practice, particularly in attracting and retaining clinical workforce and we believe that this will be attractive to GP partners.

This temporary role will undertake analysis and research to support the creation of a database of healthcare organisations who may be interested in participating in our client’s new model. The post holder will then support the approach and follow-up to interested practices.

Job Description:

  • Undertake research and analysis healthcare organisations who would be interested in our client’s new healthcare service and approach.
  • Complete research against various prioritisation and identification criteria.
  • Administer the contact with prioritised healthcare organisations, including keeping contact records up to date
  • Take enquiries from interested healthcare organisations and contacting practices to arrange meetings for our business development team
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working remote from direct supervision
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Confidence to speak with potential clients for the Business Development Team
  • Results focussed
  • Internet research
  • Good attention to detail
  • Evidence of strong numeracy and/or analysis skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft office products.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Potential travel across our client’s UK sites
