The Role:

We are seeking to recruit a talented Warehouse Supervior who wants to be part of our Operations team. You will be responsible for working for one of the biggest teams at Sofology ensuring the successful passage of goods in and out of our Regional Depots.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively and proactively manage the distribution centre to ensure that accurate and prompt deliveries can be made.
Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behaviour.
Accurately and proactively plan your designated teams work to achieve your overall objectives.
Deputising in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
Carry out quality control audits to assess both individual and process performance thus enabling the identification of training needs or process updates.
Implement stock reduction methods to increase the effectiveness of the distribution centre and proactively plan the movement of all stock within the logistic environment.
To produce and implement new policies and procedures to increase the effectives and efficiency of the distribution centre to achieve the company's goals.
Monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KPI's.
Carry out the training and performance management of personnel within the distribution environment and maintaining accurate training records for the department.

Previous experience in a similar role.
A positive and professional attitude to work.
Committed to carrying out tasks to the highest standards.
Experience in handling bulky goods is preferred.
