My client is a world leader in the Aerospace sector. They are one of the UK's leading design and manufacturers of high precision components.

The role

Due to an increase in demand to meet customers' requirements and unparalleled growth in their market, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Project Assistant to join their Project Administration Engineering Team.

The Project Assistant's main roles and responsibilities will be:

* Assist in preparing product-related reports and data collection for analysis.

* Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders to generate reports and correspondence independently.

* Review and distribute project documents.

* Maintain project records and ensure that all regulatory documents are correct, processed and approved.

* Upkeep of timing plans where required and ERP system data.

* Manage external communications where possible and provide excellent customer service.

Ideally you will have/be:

* Engineering based qualification, B-Tec or equivalent.

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawing is an added advantage.

* PC literate and strong skills in Outlook, Word and Excel.

* Strong time management/multitasking skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and perform in a fast-paced environment.

* Has passion and drive to achieve the desired results

* Good communication skills across all levels of the business, with the ability to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

* Good customer service skills

* Able to work as part of a team sharing skills and knowledge where appropriate

* Problem solving ability

* Committed to own professional development (CPD) taking advantage of training and development opportunities where available

* Adherence to company policies and procedures including quality procedures and an excellent attitude towards the Health and Safety Act at all times

Hours of work

Monday to Thursday (8.00am - 4.30pm) and Friday (8.00am - 1.30pm).

Salary - GBP18'000 - GBP20'000 (negotiable) dependent on experience.
