Job Title: Tenancy Sustainment Officer
Location: Leek
Salary: GBP19,285 per annum, following successful 6 month probationary period
Hours: Hours worked between 09:00 and 18:00. Occasional late shift may be required to meet the needs of the service users

Tenancy Sustainment Officer - The Role:
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to work alongside our Single Person's Housing Project in Leek. The aim of the services is to support vulnerable adults, aged 18+ to access and sustain suitable housing, focusing specifically on private rented accommodation. The main purpose of the Tenancy Sustainment Officer role is to pro-actively establish links with landlords and agents to develop new housing opportunities for our clients and promote the expansion of the private rented sector.
Tenancy Sustainment Officer - You:
To be successful in this role as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer you will have knowledge of Housing Benefit regulations and welfare reform and a track record in effective tenancy management, particularly in the private rented sector.
Above all, you will have an understanding of the needs of the client group and the ability to form and maintain good working relationships with private landlords to promote sustainable tenancies.
A full list of responsibilities can be found on the job description and person specification, but you will also have sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to achieve positive outcomes; proven IT skills together with great organisational and time management abilities.
The ability to drive and access to a car for work purposes is required for this role.

- Starting salary of GBP18,321 rising to GBP19,285 after successful probation period
