The client in mind are one of the leading companies within their sector in Europe. Due to increased demand for the products and services on offer, they now have a position available to join as CAD/CAM Engineer.

Reporting to the Process Manager, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to carry out the optimal feed of production and working closely with the production team to ensure there is a ready supply of production consumables are ordered and available in a timely manner for scheduled works.

This opportunity is a key role within a very profitable private owned business.

As the successful candidate you will need to;

* Work to tight deadlines

* Be able to self-manage

* Have good communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

* Be proficient in interpreting Technical Drawings and have knowledge of machine processes and programming.

Your responsibilities and tasks will include:-

• To generate and output accurate, efficient processing information to specific resources dependent on material type

• Ensure processing information is delivered RFTQ and OTIF in accordance with demand

• Maintain information kanban stations to enable the shop floor to efficiently gain access to processing information

• Ensure outputs meet health and safety requirements of specific machinery constraints

• Prioritise and process rework requests on receipt

• Manage own workload and escalate where necessary

• Batch and rework material order control in line with production schedule

• Liaise with technical department regarding material and machinery constraints

Essential Criteria:

• Meticulous in preparation and presentation of paperwork systems

• Machine and tooling knowledge

• Good organisational skills and ability to follow specific process procedures

• High level of IT Skills particularly MS Excel and Word

Desirable Criteria:

• Working knowledge of Alphacam or Magicut or similar CADCAM software
