Their aim is to create carer friendly communities where carers are recognised, valued and supported.Position: Community Fundraising OfficerLocation: Wiltshire: flexible home / office base, with a minimum 2 days per week at either Semington or Salisbury officeHours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday plus occasional weekend/evening workingSalary: GBP 22,212- GBP 24,472Benefits: 28 days' holiday in addition to bank holidays, 5% employer contribution to pension, free annual eye tests.Closing date: Wednesday April 10th at 5pmInterview date: 25th and 26th April3 in 5 of us will become a carer at some point in our lives. They ensure they have a voice that is heard and work with health and social care professionals and employers to raise carer awareness and develop best practice.The RoleThe Community Fundraising Officer will be a member of a dynamic team of committed and passionate individuals working together to raise the profile of carers and support the work of the charity. The main purpose of the Community Fundraising Officer role is to raise funds from local organisations and donors to support projects. This is an outward facing role which will include networking, making funding applications, organising events and fundraising appeals.About YouYou will be an enthusiastic, outgoing and organised person with a passion for helping others. Voluntary sector experience is not essential, but you will have demonstrable experience in a client or public facing role such customer service or sales.
