Trading for over 50 years, the business specializes in the manufacture of bespoke engineering components for industry specific needs. They have state of the art machinery and facilities across production site. This business supply to various sectors including Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, Rail Transport, Oil and Gas and Medical.

Benefits include -

Basic hourly rate of GBP13 p/h and an added allowance for any unsociable hours worked.
Extra day's holiday for 0% sickness, a company pension scheme with up to 6.5% employer

Contributions, and an annual bonus (dependant on company performance and profitability).

Responsibilities for the role include -

Setting and Operating of various milling machines in the cell.

Running a first off and inspecting using measuring equipment, before final pass off from QC department.
Working from customer drawings, CAD designs, and job route cards.
Producing one-off components from high-value materials including Inconel, stainless and aluminium.

We would love to hear from you if you've had experience in the following -

Previously worked as a CNC Setter Operator, CNC Miller, or Machining Centre machinist .

Experience working on Hurco machines (requirement) and use of Winmax software (desirable).
Confident with high-frequency setups for 1 off component manufacture.
Understand and interpret 2D & 3D drawings.
Flexibility towards overtime when required.
