Reporting Analyst (Excel, VBA, Qlik, Business Objects)

Our client, a multi award winning financial services organisation are searching for a Reporting Analyst (Excel, VBA, Qlik, Business Objects) to join their reporting team in Stoke-On-Trent. The Reporting Analyst (Excel, VBA, Qlik, Business Objects) will work as part of the Reporting & Analytics Team responsible for working on a variety of business-critical projects.

Key responsibilities for the Reporting Analyst (Excel, VBA, Qlik, Business Objects):

* Work as part of the Reporting & Analytics Team to ensure that all MI reports are produced and delivered to clients accurately and on time

* Assist the MI Project Manager in defining project requirements

* Work with the team to manage and action any ad hoc requests from clients as well as internal staff

* Work with colleagues to improve working procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports

* Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Key skills required for the Reporting Analyst (Excel, VBA, Qlik, Business Objects):

* Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including complex formulae and VBA

* Strong process mapping and documentation experience

* Ability to manage own workload and adhere to strict deadlines

* Experience with large scale data manipulation and analysis

* Experience of QLIK, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or similar reporting packages would be helpful, but is not a requirement

* Ability to work alone and as part of a team

* High level of accuracy and good attention to detail

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
