Your new company

My client are a leading educational institution with a highly diverse portfolio of courses and over 10,00 students generating revenues of over GBP170 million. They are now looking to hire an experienced HR professional to join their team on an initial 2.5 year FTC, to support with a large change program and the delivery of a number of key HR projects.

Your new role

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will work together to provide dedicated professional HR advice and guidance across a designated area of the organisation.

The role will support the HR Manager with a number of large restructuring projects including consultation, re-alignment of roles and dealing with the increase levels of employee relations.

You will support the HR Manager through the change program delivering coaching and training to enable to them more effectively manage their teams and deal with any associated people issues.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be CIPD qualified, or very near to completion, with experience of providing a wide range of operational HR services within a unionised environment and the ability to build strong positive working relationships. Experience of working within the HE Sector would be highly beneficial but not essential.

What you'll get in return

The role attracts a salary of up to GBP33,000 plus 37 days annual leave, a 27% pension plan and flexi time/slightly reduced hours also available for the right individual.
