Our client is a wholesaler who have been trading for over 10 years. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their small and established finance team in a busy and rewarding role.

Job Description:

Working in the finance team, duties for the Credit Controller will include:

  • Assessing customer accounts and credit limits and releasing orders on a daily basis
  • Liaising with the warehouse to ensure customer orders are delivered on allocated date
  • Taking payments from customers by phone
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Ensure terms of accounts are kept up to date
  • Chasing overdue debt by phone, email and letter
  • Posting and allocating cheques, card payments and BACS payments to accounts
  • Processing returns including chasing credits for customers
  • Noting and recording customer queries

Candidate requirements for the Credit Controller position:

  • Previous credit control experience
  • Customer service background
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Mature approach

Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm with 30 minute lunch or 8.30am to 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch
