Our client based in Hixon have an immediate need for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

The role will be to maintain accurate accounting records to meet financial regulations and to support the internal controls within both the accounts department and other departments within the business. Work as a team to ensure the company's bank balance is always positive.


* Processing 1400 + invoices on monthly basis

* Ensuring all invoices are posted correctly to both the sales & purchase ledgers.

* Checking all transactions for sales receipts & purchase payments are that they are recorded correctly.

* Making sure that all purchase invoices are cleared for payment in line with the correct authorisation..

Debtor Control:

* Chase & Collect all outstanding debt due within agreed terms.

General Duties:

* Issue and record petty cash payments.

* Check & pay employees expenses

Person Specification

* Proven experience in a similar role

* Available for an immediate start

* Car owner and driver

* PC literate

Hours : 9.00 am - 5.00 pm - 37.5 hours per week

Salary GBP20,000 per annum
