An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy finance department. Based in Ludlow, the role comprises of managing two teams to ensure payments are both collected on time and allocated against the correct invoices in a timely manner.

This role will require you to oversee and drive progress in the day to day performance of the teams.


  • Responsible for driving collection of past term debts
  • Ensuring accurate debtor statements are issued in a timely manner
  • Proposing and implementing KPI reporting to ensure team member focus
  • Responsible for the accurate running of the receivables ledger
  • Ensuring all business processes are adhered to
  • Ensuring that team targets are met
  • Highlighting and challenging current process or system issues and suggest improvements
  • Ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of customer payments
  • Dealing with complex internal and customer queries
  • Reconciling and managing the unallocated payments received

Person Specification:

  • Education & Qualification - Team Leader qualification or relevant experience
  • Experience - Previous experience and understanding of Credit Control, Banking and Accounts Receivable roles
  • Evidence of managing and developing a team of 10+ people
  • Proven experience of administration skills within an office environment
  • Sound awareness of business practices
