Automation Engineer required for a Global international manufacturer going through a period of continuous growth and investment on site. Offering a personable environment with great career stability.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of an HNC in Electrical Engineering, with some industry experience of manufacturing in an automation environment and PLC programming. Those with a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics would be advantageous. You will need experience of commissioning, installations and improvements of machinery. Those with programming experience of Siemens PCS7 systems would be at an advantage.

The Company going through a period of continuous investment upgrading their manufacturing and warehouse facilities, requiring another Automation Engineering to support the maintenance manager on system maintenance and programming. They offer a great working environment, with further opportunities increase your knowledge and qualifications.

The Role:

*Programming of PLC systems, maintenance and installations of automation lines.
*Working on CAPEX projects, including sourcing of machinery and factory lay out to improve machine productivity/efficiency alongside the production team.
*Problem solving and fault-finding manufacturing issues as part of the maintenance team, offering process improvement advice.
*Working with simple robotics, AGV's and controls systems.

The Candidate:
