The Anstice Community Trust, in partnership with Madeley Town Council, are working on a project to renovate and redevelop the Anstice Memorial Hall to make it once again a thriving community building, open to all, at the heart of Madeley.
The Trust is seeking
The Trust, which is a registered charity, is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative individual with a minimum of 2 years experience of recruiting and retaining volunteers. The Volunteer Manager role involves implementation of the Anstice Community Trust’s Volunteer Programme by recruiting, training, developing, supporting and motivating new and existing volunteers who in turn help to raise awareness of the work of the Trust, the profile of Anstice Memorial Hall within the local community, and support local activity and fundraising events, whilst ensuring that volunteers have an excellent volunteering experience. The Volunteer Manager will proactively support volunteers, ensuring they remain engaged and motivated, and have an excellent volunteering experience. You will be approachable, have excellent verbal and written communication skill, and be able to develop and lead a team of volunteers. This is a part time post (20 hours per week).
