SEN specialist Teaching Assistants required to work in a Ofsted rated 'GOOD' school in Coventry.

Our Learning Support Plus service recognises that the most important resource in schools is the quality of staff. Monarch Education are currently working in partnership with a high number of schools across Coventry, who are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work with pupils in their schools with additional needs. If you are an experienced Teaching Assistant who is looking for a new challenge, we would be very interested in speaking to you further.
Pupils who require this additional support may have needs such as:
??Specific Learning Disorders (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Dyscalculia)
??SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health)
??Moderate Learning Difficulties
??Severe Learning Difficulties
The most successful SEN specialist Teaching Assistants will:
??Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
??Be confident building effective relationships with identified pupils, working with a wider school team to support the pupil's inclusion.
??Be responsible for encouraging the positive emotional, social and academic development of these children.
??Have training in areas such as Makaton, PECs, Team-Teach are an advantage but are not essential.
