A local authority are looking for an experienced Advisor to join their busy team in the Customer service centre. The ideal candidate will need excellent communication skills both written and verbal, strong IT skills, resilient and the ability to remain calm and tactful when dealing with difficult queries or situation.

Previous experience in a call centre environment is essential.

Position consists of working as one of a team of Advisors, to be the single point of contact for requests for information, advice and services from the public.

Training will always be given but a willingness to learn new things is essential.

37 Hours per week.

The Customer Service Centre has a rotating Shift. The CSC is open from 8 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday. When working a Saturday shift you get a day off in the week and the rest of the week you work an extra hour to make up the 37hrs.
