My Shrewsbury based client is looking to recruit a Purchasing Coordinator to join it small but well established team.
Candidates will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally from the Waste or recycling industry.
Due to location own transport is essential for this role.
- Source new service providers and negotiate rates and prices
- Price jobs in accordance with client requirements
- Deal with queries from the Customer services and Accounts teams
- Liaise internally and externally to resolve any invoice issues
- Ensure that job specifications are relayed to Service Providers
- Ensure all licenses and insurances are in date
- Working with suppliers to ensure they are all legally compliant
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent IT Skills including word, excel and outlook
