2nd Line Support Technician (12 month FTC)

Location - Pembridge

Salary - Up to GBP30,000 depending on skills and experience

Fantastic opportunity to work for a market leading manufacturer who are looking for an experienced customer facing 2nd Line Support Technician to join their team. In the role you will be responsible for supporting applications, systems, hardware and customers throughout the UK offices.

As a 2nd Line Support Technician, you will be providing excellent customer support within a busy dynamic office which includes working as part of the service delivery team that will be resolving requests and incidents. The office environment covers Windows 10 and Office 365 so would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of these systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the tickets are actioned within the service level agreements
  • Providing 2nd line support on all desktop and application faults
  • Proving an excellent support service throughout
  • Interacting with Managers to schedule and monitor work activities
  • Ability to take control of incidents, working on projects and service improvements

Skills and Experience

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange and Server
  • Certificates in Microsoft technologies
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating systems (Windows 7/10)
  • Understanding of Office 365
  • Understanding of MPLS and VPN
  • Understanding of Microsoft Active Dictionary
  • Understanding of VM ware, Citrix, WAN and LAN environments
  • Experience of mobile technologies
