A fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Manager to aid an established full-service organisation. Helping to drive footfall, engagement and customer retention/acquisition, driving footfall on a large basis across a B2B and B2C audience.

The Role of the Marketing Manager

Working in a mid-sized marketing team you will be responsible for a range of marketing activities delivering marketing communications for events, driving sales, ticket sales as well as footfall. Strong capabilities around acquisition and the retention on a B2B and B2C level, using effective marketing campaigns to develop and continue this. Confident communicator to develop a great understanding of the material the target audience wants to see and to encourage future sales and brand loyalty. Someone who can be proactive using their initiative and is strategic and hands on all the at the same time!

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager

  • Create, manage and deliver engaging and powerful marketing campaigns within budget and monitoring and reporting on ROI
  • Advice and guidance in all aspects of traditional, digital and online marketing to increase quality enquiries, brand and product awareness and penetration
  • Responsibility of signing off projects and campaigns from the marketing team, as well as sitting in quarterly board meetings to report on expenditure and income
  • Working with agencies to create engaging marketing collateral from printed merchandise, information to online material
  • Total management of press releases and management of the PR activity and relationships
  • Creating the targeted social media advertising campaigns and producing monthly reports on the analytics
  • Support the sales and operational teams to evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data to produce effective and engaging marketing plans
  • Copywriting for promotional material, website and press releases
  • Managing the marketing budget
  • Plan and develop the B2C and B2B campaigns to raise awareness of the brand, increase engagement and monitor ROI through ticket sales and competition entries
  • Management of event participation at various industry events and award functions
  • Internal communication across all business divisions and external suppliers / partners
  • CRM management to engage with target audiences to develop engagement, brand awareness and driving retention and acquisition
  • Work with the various teams to create effective sales collateral, presentations, proposals and lead generation campaigns
  • Be knowledgeable about the business sector, customers and products to sell the events and the products/services to new and existing customers effectively

Requirements of the Marketing Manager

  • Management of marketing activity to aid and succeed in ticket sales and footfall
  • Minimum 3 years marketing experience from an event's heavy role
  • PR experience
  • Deadline and budget management
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
