The Trust cares for 36 scheduled monuments and listed buildings within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site and operates 10 award winning museums which collectively tell the story of the Ironbridge Gorge’s universal significance for its unique role in the development of the Industrial Revolution.
As part of our Masterplan for Coalbrookdale we are opening a new restaurant – The Furnace Eatery. Using local and national producers to develop food and drinks that inspire visitors with our spirit of the Ironbridge Gorge, our focus is on freshly made local and seasonal food, with artisan coffee and drinks, delivering something unique to the area.

Working within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site alongside our Executive Chef Marcus Bean you will work as a team to ensure our food and drinks menus reflect the seasons, and each dish is fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. As a team you will strive for a culture of exceptional service and work effectively to deliver great results. We will support you and the team to progress and drive this new business forward.
