CLEANING SUPERVISOR

We are a thriving Co-educational Preparatory School in Shrewsbury, Shropshire with over 300 Pupils, aged 3-13 years.  The School is situated on a beautiful 30-acre estate and offers flexi boarding supporting our independence and enrichment programs.

We are seeking a committed Cleaning Supervisor to join our busy Domestic Services Team.  The successful candidate will be expected to manage the work of the Cleaning Staff and will also be responsible for stock management of the cleaning products and undertake administrative and organisation duties.  This is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly and successful independent school and being an integral part of Prestfelde’s daily operation.

This is a part-time role working Monday to Friday, 21 hours per week during term-time only (35 weeks).  The hours of work are to be agreed by the Bursar. 

An additional 15 hours each term will be required for the recess cleaning (3 x per year including Easter, Summer & Christmas).  The recess cleaning is broken down as 9 hours at the end of each term and 6 hours prior to the start of the new term.  The annual salary is £8,215 per annum and will be paid over 12 equal monthly instalments.  Some additional cleaning during holiday letting periods may be required and will be paid at the rate of £9.25per hour.
