Our client is an internationally acclaimed British manufacturer of high value precision engineered components used for safety critical applications in some of the most demanding environments imaginable. The company is undergoing significant growth and now wants to bring on board an experienced, highly professional Project Manager with demonstrable knowledge of complex, high value project management.

The Project Manager will drive customer satisfaction through the effective execution of the project and will maintain day to day operational aspects of the project delivery, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient communication and implementation of the project.

Key responsibilities include:

·Creating, delivering and maintaining project work plans to ensure on time delivery of projects.

·Identify resources, assign responsibilities and manage performance on project deliverables.

·Ensure management, maintenance and completion of project documents.

·Ensure appropriate storage, distribution and maintenance of project documents.

·Understand and meet financial obligations of the project.

·Collate and submit timely project status reports to stakeholders

·Participate in/lead customer meetings relating to project, ensure proactive agreement with customer including regular site visits.

·Manage and prioritise tasks using project management tools.

·Engage with operations and ensure manufacturing is aligned to project requirements

Candidates will be an established and experienced Project Manager, most likely working for a project-based engineering company or division of a global organisation. It is vital you demonstrate robust PM skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management as well as leadership of high value projects brought in on time and on budget.

Candidates should possess an engineering background (degree or equivalent) and be educated in formal project management (e.g. APMP or Prince 2) be highly organised, calm and able to think and act at both strategic and operational levels.
