Video and Social Media Executive

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position will cover duties such as:

Role Summary

* Filming and editing video and audio content
* Management of social media platforms


Writing and/or receiving a film brief
Assembling raw footage
Inputting uncut rushes and sound, synchronising and storing
Creating a 'rough cut' and final edit
Audio and video engineering and editing
Consulting with senior management throughout the production process
Familiarising yourself with the brand and adhering to the in-house style
Creation of shot lists and storyboards for video briefs
Experimenting with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements
Writing voice over, commentary and scripts
Music selection
Management and storage of project files and associated media
Preferable software: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition, skills in InDesign and Photoshop are desirable but not essential

Filming/Camera Operator
Assembling, preparing and setting up equipment prior to filming
Planning shots
Finding solutions to technical or other practical problems
Keeping up to date with filming methods and equipment
Repairing and maintaining equipment
Demonstrating an awareness of health and safety issues
Organisation and planning for shoots

Attend team meetings and other company events as required
Assist all team members to ensure all department responsibilities are fulfilled
Observe strict rules of confidentiality with information
Any other reasonable duties required by the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing

Social Media

Developing and implementing social media campaigns
Managing social media day-to-day, including online advocacy, writing copy, community outreach efforts, reports etc.
Assist in the digital marketing strategy and planning
Manager social listening, researching and implementing a new platform, training relevant staff members and generating reports
Support in the development of a content calendar, to attract and engage key audiences

Essential Skills

Filming and video editing skills
Creativity and passion for video editing
Strong attention to detail
Ability to listen to others and work as part of a team
Strong project, campaign management and organisational skills

Strong knowledge of social media platforms
Ability to report on social and project/campaigns performance
Budget management

Hours of work include:
35 hours per week. Monday to Friday (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
