We have an exciting opportunity for 3 Finance Coordinators to join our client who are a nationwide solution provider within financial services based in Stoke on Trent. They have seen significant growth over the last few years and as a result they are now looking for additional members of their finance team to assist with the increase in workload on 6-month fixed term contracts.

Job Description:

The Finance Coordinator is responsible for managing client funded claim bank accounts on behalf of all Claims Management teams and their clients. You will manage the production of all monthly or claims-related Claims Management invoices and reconciliations, alongside supporting colleagues within the claims finance team. Duties will include:

  • Undertaking client bank reconciliations and general banking as per client and company requirements
  • Ensuring accurate fund management and aged debtor management in line with client and company service standards, escalating any issues internally or to clients as required
  • Raising accurate claims invoices on a monthly, weekly or per claim basis
  • Producing accurate financial reports in line with client and company service standards
  • Providing the claims finance team with predictive claims spend reports allowing fund analysis by client and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting the oversight and development of the claims finance team including any training and development needs
  • Liaising with staff from across the Group and external clients

The ideal candidate for the Finance Coordinator position will:

  • Have previous experience within an accounts/finance role, including bank reconciliations
  • Be IT literate including basic understanding of Word and strong understanding of Excel
  • Have an excellent telephone manner
  • Have customer service experience
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication
  • Have the ability to work to deadlines whilst prioritising workload
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Possess the ability to work in a team as well as individually

The Finance Coordinator role would also suit candidates with the following experience: Accounts Assistant, Accounts Clerk, Accounts Administrator, Accounts Coordinator, Finance Assistant, Finance Administrator, Finance Clerk.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: GBP17,500 per annum
