Senior Finance Administrator, Primary Care Membership Organisation based in Leamington Spa, GBP24,000 to GBP28,000 per annum dependent on experience

The Company:

The Federation was established 5 years ago to deliver enhanced services to benefit the 270,000 patients of our membership and develop benefits of collaborative working for our practices. We help improve service integration between practices and providers which improves the quality and safety of services.

Following the national directive for more integrated working between local networks of general practices (Primary Care Networks), in response to the needs of our members, we are developing new support services to include corporate functions such as finance and lead employment for new clinical roles.

We now seek a Senior Finance Administrator to join our growing team and support with a range of finance and administration duties. This is a permanent, full-time position with flexibility around working hours, based in Leamington Spa based at our new head office function due to necessary expansion.

Senior Finance Administrator Main Duties:

* Preparing supplier payments.

* Production of sales invoices, sending out correspondence to match invoice and monitoring payments.

* Day to day bookkeeping - processing and posting to accounting software.

* Reconciling bank statements.

* Processing payroll including pension administration.

* Formatting weekly financial reports.

* Assisting with month-end preparation of Profit and Loss management accounts.

* Liaising with sub-contractors about time, expense and mileage spreadsheets.

* Maintaining and developing financial governance systems.

* Resolving any queries.

Senior Finance Administrator Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

* Previous experience in a Finance Administrator role is essential.

* Previous NHS and primary care experience is desirable.

* Previous experience using Sage and Xero accountancy software is essential.

* Driving licence with use of your own car is essential.

* Proficient with Sage / Iris payroll packages.

* IT literate and a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.

* Highly organised, high attention to detail and excellent record keeping.

* Ability to adhere to strict deadline and timescales.

* Reliable and able to work under pressure at times.

* Able to work as a team and on your own using your own initiative.
