Female* Support Worker required in Walsall / Brownhills / Lichfield area**

My name is Rose*; Im 36 years old. I have many interests including music, theatre and socialising with my family and friends. I live with my mum who provides all of my care, but we are looking for some additional help to let her have an occasional break!

I have cerebral palsy with a learning disability and Im looking for experienced and reliable people to provide assistance in personal care, and to support me to pursue my interests. I need assistance with all aspects of my daily life, including keeping safe, personal care, mobility, eating and drinking and communication.

Your role will be to enable me to remain healthy and happy in my own home and have fun getting out and about. You would be joining a small team of dedicated personal assistants and so will need to be flexible regarding shifts when we are planning rota cover.

You need to have experience of learning disability and disability issues, be creative, fun, love animals and have a full drivers license. Training will be provided to ensure you have the skills to support me safely and you will have regular supervision from my case manager.

Hours flexible daytime hours between 07.00 and 21.00, including some weekend and bank holiday working in line with the needs of the family. Most episodes of care are provided in blocks of four hours, but longer days could be required to give the family a break or to attend specific events. There may also be a requirement to provide sleep-in cover as part of a block of care.

There would be a requirement to provide at least one episode of care per week, arranged as part of a rota.

Rates of Pay: weekday GBP10.00 per hour and weekends GBP11.50 per hour

GBP82.10 per sleep-in shift Monday to Friday and GBP84.40 per sleep-in shift Saturday and Sunday.

Enhanced DBS check will be pursued
