Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a Chef De Partie working within our established client based in Redditch, Worcestershire.

You will be reporting to the Head Chef and will be responsible for the supervision and development of chefs at all levels and the Kitchen Porters.

Specific Duties for a Chef De Partie:

* Preparation, cooking and presentation of food

* Minimise all forms of waste

* Maintain and promote food hygiene

* Clean all food production areas and equipment

* Minimise customer wait times and maximise customer satisfaction

Quality expectations of a Chef De Partie:

* Maintain an open and friendly atmosphere

* Maintain expected levels of hygiene

* Present food in an appetising manor

* Report any defective equipment

* Handle and maintain knives

* Receive, handle and store deliveries

You will also be responsible for new staff training, attending training sessions as and when required and being committed to Investors In People standards.
