Hi, I'm Matthew Reading, Head of Social Work for the West Norfolk locality. My focus is to lead the teams in West Norfolk to deliver outstanding social work services, bringing positive impacts on Children's lives.

West Norfolk is a beautiful place to live and work. It offers a real balance between work and home with a stunning coastline and the seaport town of Kings Lynn at its heart. Kings Lynn also offers an array of shops and restaurants, direct rail access to London Kings Cross and Cambridge and the area is surrounded by picturesque villages and hamlets. Great country pubs and walks for dog owners as well.

Here in Norfolk we are reviewing our Social Work model, creating more teams and including alternatively qualified professionals within our services. We are investing heavily in Children's Services over the next three years providing plenty of development opportunities as we transform services. Right now, we have a few posts in the West locality available for experienced and dedicated Social Workers.

If you're a social work professional, committed to improving outcomes for children and families and like the sound of West Norfolk, I'd love to hear from you. You can call me and discuss the opportunities on or to APPLY visit
