Event Scheduler - Central Birmingham

Our client, a leading provider of health and well-being services in central Birmingham, is looking for an Event Scheduler to join their team on a permanent basis, due to continued growth and expansion.

As an Event Scheduler, your main duties will include:
  • Effective scheduling of the day-to-day sessions.
  • Scheduling of Speaker resource and organisation of logistics.
  • Sourcing venues to meet audience capacity, financial, and health and safety requirements.
  • Account management of venues to meet demand/usage flows.

This is an exciting role where you will be involved in the sourcing and costing of venues, the organisation and scheduling of speakers for each event and the be the first point of contact should anything not go to plan!

In order to be successful, you will need to be an excellent communicator, with exceptional organisation skills. You must be capable of handling negotiations and be an active problem-solver who doesn't panic when "it hits the fan"!!

You will need to have team organisation and scheduling experience, experience of influencing and engaging with stakeholders, but most of all, you need a real desire to provide first class customer service. Due to the complexity of the role, you will need to be well-versed in Microsoft Excel; capable of performing a range of fuctions including VLOOKUPs and PIVOT TABLES as a minimum and must be able to manage your time efficiently, whilst managing multiple priorities at a time.

This is a full-time role with varying working hours between 8:00 and 20:00, Monday to Friday and our client is looking to pay a salary of between £20,000 and £21,000 per annum, plus an excellent benefits package.
