Are you an experienced Supervising Social Worker? Do you have have experience of working with fostering teams? Are you ready take on an exciting new permanent opportunity?

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic supervising social worker to come work within a Independent Fostering Agency based in the Worcestershire area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

-Recruitment, Assessment, Training and Support of Foster Carers

-Contributing to the operational delivery of an effective Fostering Service that positively promotes Every Child matters outcomes for looked after children

-Fostering supervising social work provision including managing own caseload whilst managing the reputation of the Agency and complying with national and service procedures and guidance

-Ensuring compliance in relation to all fostering agency tasks associated with the post including; foster carer assessment, approval, and training: promptly dealing with safeguarding issues, complaints, allegations or concerns; being involved in placement planning and foster carer reviews.

-Support and Supervision of Foster Carers

-Safeguarding Looked After Children

In order to be considered for this role, you should have:

-A good understanding of Local Children's Safeguarding Board procedures

-At least 1 years experience within fostering social work

-HCPC registration

-A relevant social work qualification
