An East Midlands based local authority is currently seeking a Children's Social Worker join their Children Protection team. You will be offered an opportunity to work in a forward thinking local authority that has an average caseload of 16 and will be given training on Signs of Safety, whilst also being given the same training opportunities as your permanent counterparts.

Coupled with a 6-month contract, a phone & laptop and the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week this is not an opportunity not to be missed.

The successful Children's Social Worker will have experience of:

  • Working with children on the Child Protection Plans, Looked after Children and Children in Need
  • Child protection Care proceedings
  • Court Reports
  • Working with the new Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Section 47s
  • Core Assessments
  • Child protection meetings
  • Planned meetings
  • Case management
  • LAC Reviews
  • Conducting reviews
  • Attending LAC Reviews

As a Children's Social Worker, you will be:

  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Car Driver Essential
