CABA is a charity providing lifelong support to past and present ICAEW members and their families in the UK and across the globe - whether they're in training, in practice or business, have left the profession or retired.
We are looking to increase our current team of Trustees to support the continuous development of CABA. There is no requirement to hold an accountancy qualification or have any experience of accountancy or the finance industry.
We are at the forefront of the benevolence sector, offering innovative solutions in supporting our membership in all aspects of their wellbeing. Our desire is to further develop our support using a variety of channels, taking greater advantage of digital solutions. We have a forward-thinking staff team with considerable digital expertise.
In order to support and challenge the staff team we are, in particular, seeking applications from candidates who can offer experience in:
- Digital and IT strategy
- Brand, marketing and social media
We would also welcome candidates who are currently working in one of these fields and may wish to consider the role as part of their wider career development.
The positions are unremunerated, however, reasonable travel expenses can be reimbursed. The commitment for Trustees will be to attend 4 Board meetings a year in Rugby, a strategy day and / or a training day each year and an interest in joining one of our Committees which meet up to 4 times a year.
All successful applicants are subject to a satisfactory enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Closing date for applications: 11 July 2019
