Our network hub in Brownhills is looking to bring on board a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy, fast-paced team. We need someone that has a passion for speaking to people and not be scared of juggling various tasks at any one time. If this sounds like something for you then read on!

Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of GBP19,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You'll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Day-to-day you will ensure that all customer consignments are out for delivery and all collections are planned daily
  • Proactively seek to prevent issues and when issues do arise, find out-the-box solutions to keep our service levels running to the highest possible level
  • A large part of the role would be to pre-call consignees (customers receiving goods) to advise of deliveries, whilst checking for any restrictions or barriers to our vehicles that could slow down the delivery process
  • Act as a strong link between specialist services delivery depots, crews and customers
What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • You'll need to have worked in a customer facing environment before (on the phone)
  • The ability to build relationships with our stakeholders and customers
  • Working experience of Microsoft packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
