Public Affairs Manager

This is a great opportunity with a leading retailer who are looking for a Public Affairs Manager to work as part of their Communications team based in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to join an already thriving and growing business with fantastic progression to Director.

The role or Public Affairs Manager will involve:

- Run a programme of announcements and engagement to promote and protect the business' reputation

- Work with Regional media and Political stakeholders

- Manage endorsements and rewards programme

- Communicate the businesses' credentials

- Manage and liaise PR agencies along with an inhouse team within Communications and Work closely with Marketing agencies to ensure consistent points of contact

- Create, Develop and implement systems and processes in communications

The Right candidate for Public Affairs Manager will:

- Have previous experience in Public Affairs and Public Relations for a commercial business

- Have Team Management experience

- Hold a high level of education

- Have experience working with press offices

- Have knowledge of politics
