They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an IT Support role and have knowledge of various systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handling internal support tickets
  • Able to communicate over the phone, via email and various other forms of communication
  • Support with implementation of new projects for the coming year
  • Delivering IT customer service to internal staff and remote workers
  • Able to problem solve
  • Work towards industry standards and best practices
  • Monitoring and maintaining integrity of the company's network
  • Ensuring the network connectivity throughout the company is correct
  • Monitoring and evaluating system performance
  • Troubleshooting problems
  • Administering various software and hardware
  • Continuously determine where improvements can be implemented
  • Managing and monitoring all of the systems and infrastructures'
  • Consistently provide 1st and 2nd level support
  • Communicating with suppliers and other IT personnel to resolve issues

Keys Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in 1st/2nd line support in both on-premise and cloud-based applications (advantageous)
  • Service Now ticket management
  • Windows Server 2012
  • Windows 2010 Environments
  • Active Directory / Azure Active Directory
  • Office 365 suite of applications
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
  • SCCM Package deployment - imaging new laptops / desktops and installing authorised software
  • Equitrac Follow Me Print & Printers
  • Mitel SIP telephony
  • Virtualisation - Hyper V and VMware
  • Shadow Protect Data backup
  • Basic knowledge of Network LANs, WANs, Internet, Intranet systems and patching
  • Basic knowledge of Linux Server
  • Basic knowledge of MAC PC's
  • Remote / Distributed teams
  • Third - party vendors / Service Agents

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in a 1st & 2nd line support role
