Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: up to GBP33,749.00 per annum ( GBP17.30 p/h ) - negotiable DoE

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours). The hospital can also consider fixed shifts.

Shifts: Options of Days only (Apply online only)) or Nights only ( (Apply online only) ) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference

Further Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced RGN, RMN, or RNLD to work within a Brain Injuries and complex care registration service in Stoke on Trent

The Hospital provides specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

The service has 70 beds and provides a full rehabilitation pathway across 4 units. There is a large 33 bed ward with 33 individual en-suite rooms to support those residents with a higher level of complex nursing and care requirements. A lift facilitates safe access to those with mobility issues and the Residents who need assisted ventilation, tracheostomy care including those in a prolonged disorder of consciousness and those requiring end of life care. Residents requiring intensive or slow-stream, post-acute rehabilitation. Residents struggling with cognitive problems (memory, organisational and thinking skills). Residents needing nursing, physical care and end of life

There are 3 other units that incorporate care for more mobile patients, those with challenging behaviours related to their injury or dementia and semi-independent living options for a full rehabilitation and step down service

Service Details: The Hospital has a good CQC rating across all key lines of enquiry an impressive training and development system in place. The manager is from a nursing background and has been at the service for many years, staff turnover is low and morale is high. The service has been designed with rehabilitation and wellness in mind and includes well-appointed furnishings to provide the women in our care a calming service. Each spacious bedroom has en-suite facilities. The facilities also includes a gym, hair and beauty salon, self-modulation room and two large communal lounge areas. Dedicated clinical teams provide a multidisciplinary input including occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry and vocational training.

Shifts : The Hospital can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they are happy to consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only. Their shift pattern is 0740 am- 8 pm (days) and 1940pm - 0800am (nights). Please state if you have any preferences on your hours and/or shift pattern in your application
