Credit Controller
Immediate start - 9 to 12 months maternity cover

For an immediate start in Brierley Hill, we require an experienced credit controller for 9-12 months to cover maternity leave.

You will be working within a team of 9, and reporting to the Finance Office Manager and be fully trained on the business processes. To ensure the finance department operates smoothly and efficiently and provides good service internally to other departments with particular reference to collection of cash, control of the sales ledger and assist with all other accounting functions within the department as required.

You will need to be able to offer excellent customer service within the role as this is of paramount importance and be responsible for the image of the company at all times to both internal and external customers and suppliers.

Key requirements for the Credit Controller are:

Chasing of all overdue amounts outstanding on the Sales Ledger, maintaining a record on the system of all telephone conversations and details.

Occasional banking of cheques and daily posting of cash received onto the sales ledger, and allocation of credit notes against invoices

Maintaining credit limits together with " on stop " accounts in conjunction with credit limits set by our trade credit insurance provider.

Issue an up to date monthly aged debt listing that balances to the sales ledger.

PC Literate - MS Office, Excel

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and customer focused is essential.
Ability to effectively problem solve and take ownership of the problem to resolution.

This is a contract for 9-12 months, to be reviewed at 9 months.

Salary: £18-£20k depending on experience

Immediate start

Working Hours : Monday to Friday 09.00 am to 17.00 pm with one hour for lunch
