Sales Manager required for an electrical wholesaler covering the East Midlands area.

Our client is expanding and looking for an experienced Sales Manager within the electrical wholesale industry. The role is covering the East Midland area so ideally you will have good relationships already with clients in these areas.

The role is mainly field based but will also at times be office based.

MAIN DUTIES

Build strong working relationships with existing customers through a mutual understanding of their business and how ours can meet their needs.

Prospect and build a pipeline of new business opportunities.

Develop, negotiate, and close new business opportunities.

Build strong customer loyalty through delivery of a first- class service and a value for money offering

Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to deliver sales growth in all the company's products

Meet and exceed personal sales/GP targets

Maintain an accurate record of all opportunities, contacts and account history

Communicate all sales/prospect activity to management on a regular basis

Provide management with regular, accurate forecasts of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams

Liaise with all other departments/personnel (internal/external sales, purchasing, stock control, accounts) to ensure effective account management and assist where necessary.

Work closely with suppliers to support key accounts and deliver mutually beneficial growth

Ensure quotations/tenders are produced accurately and in a timely manner

Conduct sales presentations as required both internally and externally.

To act at all times as an ambassador for the company.
