An excellent opportunity has arisen with a market leader who specialise in manufacturing radiator covers for the public sector, throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual to take ownership of the technical surveying & contract management of their projects.

Reporting to the Management Team and the Director, we would expect you to cover 30,000 - 40,000 miles per annum as you survey potential and secured projects.

About the Technical Surveyor role:

The products portfolio that you will be surveying consists of Radiator Covers, LST Radiators, pipe boxing, Anti-ligature vent covers, Anti-ligature TV cabinets as well as other anti-ligature products.

You will be responsible for producing detailed measurements maintaining a high degree of survey accuracy and generate CAD (Computer-aided design) drawings where necessary. Planning in installation dates with the client and install teams, managing the installation projects from start to finish and dealing with any snagging issues that can arise.

You will need to discuss the technical elements of the products with the client and suggest the best solution to the customer's needs. Your people skills will be paramount as you will be the face of the company when surveying.

Completing RAMS and making sure they are enforced by the client and staff will play a big part of the role.

About You:

This unique role would suit someone who has sheet metal / manufacturing / construction / engineering or technical experience and is looking for a new challenge which will give them scope to develop their career.

Previous experience as a technical surveyor and the ability to create CAD in 2D and possibly 3D is preferred, although exceptional candidates who can demonstrate a logical approach to surveying and problem solving will also be considered.

You will need to demonstrate that you have a positive CAN DO attitude, able to work on own initiative, a creative thinker and a team player.

Ideally you will be located within commuting distance of the head office in Shifnal, Shropshire and prepared for long distance driving within the UK.

Staying away from home will be required to maximise time spent on site and we estimate this to be 3-4 times a month.

Full training will be given along with a generous salary + car allowance, expenses, mileage and inclusion within a profit share scheme which is paid out on a quarterly basis after the probation period is completed.
