MRB Health & Social Care Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Supported Living Manager to work within a supported living service for people with learning disabilities or associated mental health needs. Our client has a great reputation within the supported living sector and aims to deliver high quality, person centred care, support and enablement for people with learning disabilities and mental health support needs.

As a Supported Living Manager, you will be required to oversee our clients service based in Newtown, Powys. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will have responsibility for leading and supervising a team of Support Workers, whilst ensuring the highest quality of care and support is delivered to adults with learning disabilities / mental health needs.

This is a small service with between 4 and 5 service users who live within a shared property and currently 1 service user who lives within their own property. All clients are supported with day to day living and with help to access services within the local community to enable them to lead a fulfilled and independent life with full support from the team.

As a Supported Living Manager, you will be expected to have a level of flexibility with regards to working hours to meet the needs of the business. The is also a requirement to cover on call.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold a driving license as well as have access to own car.

As a Supported Living Manager, you will be required to:

* Oversee the service, and the staff team, delivering support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health support needs.

* Work closely with the Area Manager for the region.

* Attend interviews for potential new packages of care

* Ensure service users receive their commissioned hours and manage the delivery of these hours in line with service users' needs and preferences

* Staff management such as supervisions, training, recruitment, attendance, poor performance etc

* Have previous experience of working with adults with mental health needs or learning disabilities at Manager, Supervisory, Deputy OR Team Leader level

* Ability to make a positive change to the lives of individuals in the service

* Provide guidance and support to your team to ensure the highest levels of care and support are provided to your residents.

* Have a thorough understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans

* Hold a minimum of NVQ level 3; or be working to towards this qualification.

* Provide on call support as part of a rota
