Salary - GBP40,000 plus overtime (OTE GBP45K+)

The Company

Our client specialises in the manufacture of extruded and compressed injection moulded rubber products and supply into a wide variety of industries including Marine, Automotive, Aerospace Oil & Gas and Power. With over 90 years experience within the rubber industry their Cambridgeshire based production facility produces over a kilometre of rubber per day.

The company have been continually investing and upgrading their production equipment to allow them to stay at the cutting edge of their industry. They are also fanatical about quality and are continually driving to meet the high standards they set for themselves with continued product development.

The Role

The role requires the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to undertake both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on their rubber injection moulding lines and compression moulding machines.

Both sets of machines are very large, working up to 650 tons of pressure. All the lines are PLC controlled, using Siemens S7, Mitsubishi or Mitol. The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer would be required to fault find on these control systems as well as fault find both mechanically and electrically.

Our client requires a candidate to start immediately so previous experience working on Rubber Injection Moulding lines or Rubber Compression Moulding machines is essential so the successful candidate can hit the ground running.

The Candidate

To be successful in your application you must have the following skills or attributes:

Must have previous experience maintaining Rubber Injection Moulding Machines or Rubber Compression Moulding Machines.
Candidates must be Multiskilled.

Shifts

1 week 3 shift rotation Monday to Friday

Early > 6:30am - 2:30pm
Day > 2:30pm - 10:30pm
Late > 10:30pm - 6:30pm
